श्रीवर्धन हे कोकणातील रायगड जिल्ह्यातील तालुक्याचे ठिकाण असून तीर्थक्षेत्र म्हणून व समुद्रकिनारा लाभलेले निसर्गरम्य पर्यटन स्थळ म्हणून प्रसिद्ध आहे.
श्रीवर्धन या नावाविषयी कथा सांगितली जाते. गावातील लक्ष्मीनारायणाच्या मंदिरातील विष्णूच्या हातात एका विशिष्ट क्रमाने पद्म, चक्र, गदा व शंख ही आयुधे आहेत. म्हणूनच या विष्णूला 'श्रीधर' म्हटले जाते.. त्या ‘श्री’ च्या अस्तित्वामुळे वधर्न (वाढ) झालेले गाव म्हणजे ‘श्रीवर्धन’. या निसर्गरम्य गावाच्या उत्तरेस तांबडीचा डोंगर व पश्र्चिमेकडे समुद्र आहे. तर दक्षिणेस असलेल्या खाडीत हे गाव आखीव-रेखीव असे नटलेले आहे. श्रीवर्धन हे पेशव्यांचे मूळ गाव आहे.

Private air-conditioned and non air-conditioned deluxe buses are also available from Shrivardhan to many cities in the State including Mumbai and Pune. From Pune, one can take a bus from Swar Gate ST Stand.
